  • Preparation of Budget Estimates for providing share capital and additional share capital through recapitalisation of RRB.
  • Review of performance of RRBs.
  • Bank security and vigilance of RRBs.
  • Laying of Annual Reports, Notifications and Consolidated Review of all RRBs along with review thereof on the table of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
  • Parliament Questions, Assurances, Parliament Committees, etc.
  • Amalgamation of RRBs.
  • Disputes arising in RRBs due to amalgamation, both operational and HR related.
  • Approval for Appointment of statutory auditors for RRBs through NABARD.
  • Wage revision for RRB employees.

  • Formation of Staff Service Regulation for RRBs.
  • Recruitment Promotion Rules for employees and officers of RRBs.

(b) Credit Policy

  • Follow up action of Select Parameters recommended by Sachar Committee.
  • Credit Delivery to women.
  • PSL loans to Physically Disabled Persons (PWPs).
  • Differential Rate of Interest Scheme.
  • Women Self Help Group Development Fund implemented by NABARD – to make provisions for Funds, monitoring of scheme and other matters related to it.
  • Policy matter related to set up of a Development Financial Institution (DFI) by M/o Rural Development.
  • Self Employment Programme (SEP) for SHGs under National Urban Livelihood Mission (NULM).

  • Functional architecture of MUDRA.
  • Delivery channels/ Last mile financing Institutions to be used for MUDRA.
  • Prime Minister MUDRA Yojana (PMMY) for Refinance to Last Mile Lenders.
  • Credit Guarantee Fund Scheme under MUDRA to securitize loans financed by Last Mile Lenders.
  • Arrangement of funds from Priority Sector Shortfalls from RBI for refinancing operation and from budgetary provisions for Credit Guarantee Scheme.
