Dr. Bhushan Kumar Sinha

Dr. Bhushan Kumar Sinha belongs to Indian Economic Service(1993 batch). Dr. Sinha holds Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the National Graduate School of Management (NGSM), Australian National University (ANU), Canberra (Australia). He is also a Law Graduate and Ph. D. in Financial Studies from University of Delhi.

Presently, he is posted as Joint Secretary in the Department of Financial Services (DFS), Ministry of Finance, Government of India. As Joint Secretary, DFS, he has dealt the matter related to the Financial Inclusion initiatives of GoI as well as policy matters relating to agriculture/rural credit flow with special focus on priority sector lending by banks. Currently, Dr. Sinha is handling all matters relating to Development of Financial Institutions, including NaBFID, SIDBI, EXIM, IIFCL, IFCI, NHB, etc.
