Smt. M.G.Jayasree

Smt. M.G. Jayasree, an Indian Statistical Service (ISS:1998) officer is having M.Sc. in Public Management and Governance from London School of Economics & Political Science, London, UK and M.Sc. in Statistics from M.G. University, Kerala. Currently the officer is serving as Deputy Director General in Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, New Delhi and also as Govt. Nominee Director on the Board of Punjab & Sind Bank, New Delhi & United India Insurance Co. Ltd., Chennai.

The officer has vast experience in different capacities in Government of India. Before holding the current assignment, she had worked in the Election Commission of India, Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation, Ministry of Small & Medium Enterprises, Department of Animal Husbandry and Ministry of New & Renewal Energy.
